Reeves Farms is dedicated to producing fresh, nutritious berries and vegetables using sustainable farming practices and is a proud member of Pride of New York. The Reeves Family has been growing vegetables for more than a century in the Baldwinsville, New York area. Reeves Farms has practiced Integrated Pest Management (IPM) on its crops for over 25 years. IPM has resulted in high quality berries and vegetables being grown with minimal use of pesticides. Extensive use of crop rotation, cover crops, minimum tillage and scouting for pests have been key ingredients to Reeves Farms sustainability. Reeves Farms is also committed to producing vegetables and berries that are nutritious and healthy. We employ Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in growing our vegetables and berries and are Global GAP certified. In 2008, we obtained organic certification for our blueberries. Additionally, we received organic certification for tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, winter squash and summer squash in 2009, strawberries in 2010 and gourmet bicolor sweet corn in 2011.

Stick and Stone Farm started on a few acres of rented land in Newfield, NY. It is now 72 acres of land in the Town of Ulysses, between Jacksonville and Ithaca on route 96. We raise 25 acres of certified organic vegetables, flowers and free range chicken eggs. We attend the Ithaca Farmers’ Market on Saturdays and Sundays May-November. We are founding members of the Full Plate Collective, a three farm CSA that provides fruits and vegetables to more than 500 families in Ithaca, Danby, and Trumanburg.

Pedersen Farms is a family owned farm located in the Central Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. The area is well known for its high quality wine, but also is home to many diversified vegetable and dairy farms. About half of our land is certified organic by NOFA-NY, the rest is farmed conventionally, but we use sustainable farming techniques on all of our land.

Satur Farms grows specialty salads, leafy vegetables, heirloom tomatoes, root vegetables, and herbs. We are committed to sustainable farming, not only in relation to our fields and the safe production of our vegetables, but also ensuring our employees continuing and livable wages. Satur Farms adheres to sound agricultural practices with a focus on respect for the soil. We practice crop rotations, so that the same family of vegetable is not planted in the same field block during the growing season. This helps minimize disease occurrence and feeds the soil. We have taken over tired farmland and mineralized the soil, which balances the CEC ratio allowing for the growth of healthy plants that are less susceptible to disease. We also plant cover crops, using custom seed blends of clover, legumes, and grasses, which binds nitrogen and prevents toxic runoff, deters erosion from wind and rain, and makes beautiful ‘green manure’ that is tilled down to enrich the soil and its microbiological activity. Organically- approved sprays are used whenever possible. Our concern for the environment continues with our packaging materials, which are 100% recyclable when achievable.
