Suzanne and Steve have always put quality, animal welfare, and their passion for making great cheese first. Those priorities have transferred seamlessly to their children, and in 2015 their son Pete took over as the head cheese maker. Pete’s experience growing up on the farm and his interest in exploring new milks and techniques have given Lively Run their most diverse and exciting portfolio of cheese in their 30 year history.
