Local Crimson Crisp Apples are very crisp and juicy with perfect acid/sweet balance – one of our best varieties for eating out of hand and is also an excellent keeper. Other local apples available this week include Bramley’s Seedling, Hudson’s Golden Gem, Esopus Spitzenburg, Keepsake, Northern Spy, Querina (Florina), Robin, and Winecrisp.
Organic Honeynut Squash are small, perfect for plating with super sweet flesh and edible skin. Organic Acorn, Butternut, Delicata, and Spaghetti Squash all available, too.
Organic Blue Oyster, Lion’s Mane, and Shiitake Mushrooms all available in bulk and retail packs.This may be the last of the season’s organic, biodynamic Salad Greens. Flower Power Salad Mix is a blend of baby lettuce, spicy Asian greens, and a stunning assortment of herbs and edible flowers. Organic, biodynamic Field Greens, Baby Kale, Baby Arugula, Baby Tatsoi, and Spicy Greens all available, too.
Organic Gilfeather Turnips are new this week, with the bright white flesh of a turnip, and the sweet, non-bitter flavor and creamy texture of a rutabaga… give them a try! Organic Purple Top, Golden, and Hakurei Salad Turnips also available.

Organic Green Meat Radish is green throughout, our sweetest Asian radish. Organic Korean White, Korean Purple, Long White Daikon, and Watermelon Radishes all available, too,
Organic Green Madeley Kale is a tender and sweet English heirloom with large leaves. Organic Russian Red Ursa Kale, Green Curly, Red Curly, and Tuscan Dinosaur Kale all available, too.

Organic Murdoc (Green Pointy) Cabbage is more tender than traditional round heads, its mild flavor compares well with flat head cabbages. Organic Green, Red, and Napa Cabbage all available, too.

Organic Cylindrical Red Formanova Beets are easy to peel and yield uniform slices, excellent for cooking and pickling. Organic Chioggia “Candy Stripe”, Golden, and Round Red Beets also available.

Organic Austrian Crescent Fingerling, Algonquin White, Chieftain Red, Keuka Gold, and Upstate Abundance Creamer Potatoes all available, as well as organic Red, Russet, and Yellow Gold Potatoes.
Organic Adirondack Red Potatoes have red skin and red flesh, Adirondack Blue Potatoes have blue skin and blue flesh.
Local Kennebec Potatoes make great fries and chips, hold their shape in soups, stews, and curries.

Stick and Stone Farm
Meet our neighbors! Stick and Stone Farm is Certified Organic farm in Ithaca, NY. Lucy Garrison and Chaw Chang, together with their crew of 10 (and 4 kids), farm about 125 acres just 4.5 miles west of downtown Ithaca. Each year they grow about 50 acres of Organic produce, leaving the rest in soil enriching cover crops. Our crops include a wide variety of greens, tomatoes, root vegetables, alliums, strawberries and more! They also grow many specialty Asian vegetables including fall greens and roots.
Juniper Hill Farm
Juniper Hill Farm is nestled between the Adirondack Mountains and Lake Champlain, on the Boquet River in Wadhams, New York. Established in 2007, they grew on three acres of fertile land; now, they cultivate over one hundred acres. We are continuously adding more greenhouses with a goal of bringing to market an earlier and higher quality variety of products. Our growing techniques exceed the requirements of the National Organic Program and our farm is recognized by NOFA NY as a Certified Organic Farm.
