Chef Gino Ruggiero opened Restaurant Fiorella to pursue his passion for traditional farm-to-table Italian cuisine. A first generation Italian-American, Chef Ruggiero was inspired by his travels around Italy and fond childhood memories of family meals. Being right in the heart of the Rochester Public Market offers the opportunity to cultivate relationships with farmers and help Restaurant Fiorella diners connect with their food in a more meaningful way.
They have remained open through all stages of Covid, In doing so they have had to adjust their business model but have continued to supply quality food to the community. They are offering curbside takeout and counter service dining Wednesday-Saturday 11:30am-2pm & 4:30pm-8:30pm. Just a reminder that you must wear a mask unless seated at a table, and they will only be accepting cashless payments at this time.
Thankfully their doors are opening back up, as inside offers a unique and intimate way to enjoy farm-to-table Italian cuisine (and our Red Gate Grocer Sicilian Sausage pictured here). Their mission speaks to what Regional Access is all about! So be sure to check out Restaurant Fiorella, and strike up a conversation with Gino, you might learn something.
