About Howland's Honey
Three Generations of Tradition
We have all of your honey needs. We have many varieties of local honeys, including raw honey and beeswax. Howland’s Honey was founded by my grandfather in the 1930s. We have been in business for over 80 years and have a reputation for having the finest quality honeys that New York State has to offer.
The honey bee crisis that faces today’s beekeepers is a daunting task. It is a blessing to have 3 generations of knowledge to combat this crisis. We are one of few apiaries that winter all of our colonies in the Northeast. Howland’s has bee colonies throughout most of New York State, to the Canadian border and western New York. We produce only New York honeys and we will never buy or sell any foreign honey.
Howland’s Honey, LLC is known for having many different kinds of honey, as we take the time to separate the varieties when we are extracting. Most beekeepers do not do this, because it is time consuming. I, Michael Howland, have recently taken over from my father who I worked with and learned everything I know. We worked together for over 30 years. Howland’s Honey LLC is located in Upstate NY. For mead makers, we have many varieties of honey for your wine making needs. Please enjoy our fine honey and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
